Hrithik Roshan donates blood, inspires fans to take similar initiatives

Mumbai: Superstar Hrithik Roshan recently donated blood at a Mumbai hospital and encouraged his fans to take similar initiatives.

He shared an image of himself donating blood on Instagram.

"I was told that my blood group B-negative is a rare type. Hospitals often fall short of it.Pledging to be an insignificant part of the very significant blood banks. Thank you @kokilabenhospital for allowing me to contribute," he captioned the image on Instagram.

"Do you know that donating blood is in fact good for the donors health?" he added, inspiring fans to perform the act.

Papa Rakesh Roshan felt proud of his son for donating blood.
He wrote: "Proud of you."
