This season features an ensemble cast including Suhotra Mukhopadhyay as Bapi, Somak Ghosh as Pramatha, Rajnandini Paul as Paramita, and Rahul Arunoday Banerjee as Avik.

The story has been adapted from a novel by Sujan Dasgupta, with screenplay and dialogues by Padmanabha Dasgupta, and story development by Sreejib.

Detective Eken and his trusted partners, Bapi and Pramatha, are invited to Puri to solve a sinister mystery. What begins as menacing phone calls to renowned Kathakali dancer Paramita spirals into a series of murders.

Amidst the vibrant cultural backdrop, Eken uncovers secrets, and hidden agendas to catch the real killer before it’s too late. With his broken Oriya accent, love for food, and sharp intellect, Eken Babu takes viewers on a hilarious yet sinister roller-coaster ride.

Director Joydeep Mukherjee shared, "Directing Puro Puri Eken has been such a fun and rewarding experience. Puri is a place I personally love, and getting to showcase its culture while weaving in Eken Babu's quirky adventures was an absolute delight. This story has everything—humor, suspense, and those unexpected twists that make Eken so special."
