Grateful to call you my home: Anushka Sharma's heartwarming post for husband Virat Kohli after T20 World Cup win

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has left a heartwarming post for her husband, cricket giant Virat Kohli, on social media after India clinched their second T20 World Cup title on Sunday.

Anushka took to Instagram to share a picture where Kohli is seen wrapped up in the tricolour with the World Cup in his hand.

The popular B-Town actress wrote with a kissing emoticon, "AND ….. I love this man  @virat.kohli . So grateful to call you my home - now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this !"

Immediately after clinching the final victory at Barbados in West Indies, Kohli was spotted video calling his family from the ground.

Kohli, who was awarded the Player of the Match for his 76-run vital knock in the final against South Africa, also announced his retirement from T20 cricket on Saturday.

"This was my last T20 World Cup, this is exactly what we wanted to achieve. It's been a long wait for us, waiting to win an ICC tournament," said the former India captain.

In the final match which was almost in South Africa's grip, India's premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, all-rounder Hardik Pandya and a stunning catch by Suryakumar Yadav pulled things back for the men-in-blue.

With the back on the wall, Rohit Sharma-led side came back strongly to upset all plans of South Africa and clinched a 7-run win.
