Grace of Monaco opens Cannes Film Festival

Cannes, May 15 (IBNS) Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman walked the red carpet as her 'Grace of Monaco' opened the 67th Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

Bollywood actor Uday Chopra, who made a debut in the festival this year in his capacity as producer of the film 'Grace of Monaco' tweeted: "Grace Of Monaco gets a standing ovation at the Cannes Festival @FdC_officiel Wish my father was there to see."

The film is directed by Olivier Dahan.

Meanwhile, Bollywood beauty  Mallika Sherawat was also present on the opening day of the festival on Wednesday.

She tweeted: "Thank you Pucci for the lovely gown for the opening night #mallikaincannes# cannes2014."

"Thank u Boucheron for the lovely diamonds for the opening night #Cannes2014#mallikaincannes," the actress said.
