Goa gearing up for 45th IFFI

Panaji, Nov 18 (IBNS): Goa is gearing up to host the 45th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) from Nov 20.

The final work is in progress as the date of the opening ceremony is fast approaching .

Face lifting is in progress at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium in Bambolim where the opening and closing ceremonies of the event will be held.

At Kala Academy, Panaji, opening and closing films will be screened.

Theaters are also being revamped. Special transportation facilities and vehicles are being arranged for the invitees and officials. The invitees will be escorted from Kala Academy to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium.

Sushant Tari, art director of IFFI is decorating the premises of the stadium. The main decor revolves around the IFFI peacock.

He has also designed the cover for the IFFI guide.

The event will end on Nov 30.
