French director Claude Lelouch's 'Un Plus Une' will close Jio MAMI filmfest
Mumbai, Oct 25 (IBNS) Claude Lelouch's latest directorial venture, 'Un Plus Une' will close the Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival with Star India.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and stars Academy Award winner Jean Dujardin and Elsa Zylberstein. Also making appearances in it are Indian actors Kalki Koechlin and Rahul Vohra.
Set in France and India, the film follows Antoine (Jean Dujardin), a self-involved man-child as he travels to India on work where he meets Anna (Elsa Zylberstein), the wife of the French ambassador.
Universally acknowledged as one of the masters of French cinema, Claude Lelouch previously won the Palm d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1966 and an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and Best Foreign Language Film in 1967.
'Un plu Une' is part of the ‘Rendezvous’ category that presents the best in contemporary French filmmaking at the festival.
The Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival with Star India will be held in Mumbai from Oct 29 to Nov 5. The film screenings will take place at PVR Juhu, PVR Citi Mall, Andheri, PVR LP, Phoenix Mills, PVR Ghatkopar and Regal-Colaba.
