Mumbai, May 9 (IBNS) Actress Freida Pinto is all set to join the cast of The Jungle Book directed by Andy Serkis.

An insider source said, "Freida has always been very clear and focused with her film choices and has chosen roles that are diverse and interesting. She has already worked with Andy once before and with him directing this Jungle Book she was very keen on being part of his directorial venture.  Freida has grown up reading the Jungle Book. So when she was presented with the opportunity to be part of the film, she was elated as its part of her childhood."

The film, which goes on floors in a few days in South Africa, is jam packed with other stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis and more.
