First Look: Amitabh Bachchan's family pack in Piku

Mumbai, Oct 31 (IBNS) 'Piku' is one of the most talked about projects of the next year, and the first look that was revealed was a testament to the buzz around the movie, with #WaitingForPiku trending within 20 minutes of the video launch.
And to take that further, the makers of the movie have revealed the first look of Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Piku’. He is seen donning a loose chequered shirt, worn over another shirt and a Khakhi coloured cap in a very unkempt look.
 
 Amitabh Bachchan is known for setting new trends and making fashion statements just out of anything, and now the mega star has done it again! At a time when dime-a-dozen dash board abs are flashing in your face, Mr. Bachchan has gone ahead and declared a war on the six and eight  pack abs with his family pack! Yes, that’s right, a family pack!
 
 For his upcoming film, Shoojit Sircar directed Piku which is a quirky take on father daughter relationship,  Bachchan has been savouring mouth watering dishes being served to him during this festive season and has gone on a binge diet, the result of which is for all of us to see.
 
 A slice-of-life cinema, ‘Piku’ is a roller coaster ride of a crazy father-daughter relationship essayed by Amitabh and Deepika, along with Irrfan in a pivotal author backed role. ‘Piku’ also marks coming together of Shoojit Sircar, Ronnie Lahiri and Juhi Chaturvedi, the team that had scripted Vicky Donor.
 
 Produced by MSM Motion Pictures, in association with Saraswati Entertainment Creations Limited and Rising Sun Films, ‘Piku’ is set to hit the silver screen in April 30, 2015.
