Farhan Akhtar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra reunite for sports-drama Toofan

Mumbai/IBNS: After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar and filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra reunited for sports-drama Toofan which will release in 2020.

The first look of the film was released on Thursday.

In the first look, Farhan is seen in an avatar of a boxer. 

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the first look saying, "#BhaagMilkhaBhaag team - #FarhanAkhtar and director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra - reunite... First look of sports-drama #Toofan... Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar... 2 Oct 2020 release."

The film will release on Oct 2, 2020.

Farhan had essayed the role of former Indian track and field sprinter Milkha Singh in 2013 film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
