| @indiablooms | May 28, 2024, at 06:32 pm

In a revelation, actor Fahadh Faasil has said he was diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at the age of 41, media reports said.

At the Peace Valley Children's Village Event, Fahadh said he spoke to a doctor about ADHD while taking a stroll at the village.

Fahadh said he had asked the doctor whether ADHD is curable.

"He told me it can be easily cured if it is diagnosed at a young age. I asked whether it can be cured if it is diagnosed at the age of 41. I am clinically ADHD diagnosed," he said as quoted by NDTV.

What is ADHD?

ADHD is a chronic condition which includes attention difficulty, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.

It begins in childhood and may linger into adulthood.

In short, the disease interferes with the brain's capacity to control attention, impulse and behaviour.
