Mumbai, Sept 11 (IBNS): Critically acclaimed actress Fagun Thakrar was recently invited to speak at a panel for young rising stars in international cinema at the Venice Film Festival.

Fagun has worked across European, Indian, and American cinema.

She spoke on a wide variety of subjects, from her experiences as an actor to her current project directing her first film.

Named best-dressed at the Cannes Film Festival in May, Fagun has since become an internationally renowned fashion icon.

While at the Venice Film Festival, she was spotted at the most glamorous event, the Vanity Fair event at the Cipriani Hotel.

She wore a long stunning ball gown by Indian fashion designer Shehla, complemented by earrings by Chopard. Completing her style, Fagun accessorised with a dazzling white pearl purse from her personal designer collection, the Fagun Collection.

The Indian beauty was born and brought up in London, studying Medicine at UCL before pursuing a career in acting. She achieved her masters at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she was cast in several major productions on the West End stage. It wasn’t long before Fagun was taking on leading roles and made the transition into international cinema. More recently, Fagun has begun to extend her credentials into the sphere of writing and directing. Fagun’s rising international success serves as an inspiration to both Indian talent and young aspiring actors worldwide.
