Emraan Hashmi comes to Nargis Fakhri's rescue on sets of Azhar

Mumbai, Feb 1 (IBNS): Actress Nargis Fakhri faced an uncomfortable incident on the sets of Azhar in London, UK.
She was shooting for a sequence with Emraan Hashmi and several spectators gathered to see the shoot.

However one person constantly kept clicking pictures and recording videos of Nargis, making her very uncomfortable. Emraan noticed it, and confronted the individual.

Nargis described how she is used to such behavior on the sets of a film but this was uncalled for, “When someone constantly records you, you feel conscious. The person cannot be ignored, I tried to signal the man requesting him not to record or shoot me, but he paid no heed. Despite unit assistants also asking him to stop, he kept at it. Then Emraan went up to him, took him aside and gave him a piece of his mind. I don’t know what Emraan said but the man left from there immediately.”

On asking Emraan about the incident he said, “I do understand that fans display their love and affection in many ways and I appreciate that. However, this particular gentleman overstepped his boundary. So, I had to intervene and ask him to leave, before we took strict action against him,’’.

Directed by Tony D’souza, Azhar is based on the life and times of one of India’s most loved cricket captains, Azharuddin and chronicles his rise and fall as country’s most controversial sportsman yet.

The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Lara Dutta along with others.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, N. P. Singh and Sneha Rajani, the film is slated to release on May 13. It is Balaji Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures Networks’ production.
