Dekhechhi Rupshagore will have a positive impact on my career: Bengali actor Dibyojyoti Dutta

| @indiablooms | Aug 20, 2022, at 03:39 am

Bengali actor Dibyojyoti Dutta teamed up with Ditipriya Roy for SVF's music video by Mahtim Shakib, Dekhechhi Rupshagore, which has already garnered positive responses. India Blooms correspondent Souvik Ghosh interacts with Dibyojyoti

Q. How was this journey of shooting a music video?

A. This is my first experience of shooting a music video. The shooting process was definitely different compared to other works. It was exciting for me because I haven't been a part of any music video in the past.

Q. Rain is also an element in the music video.

A. Firstly, we didn't plan to shoot in the rain. Rain incidentally had started during the shoot. It was natural. When rain had stopped midway, we had to innovate ways, thanks to our heroine Ditipriya, to create a rainy scene. Her input had helped us to complete the shoot.

Rain is something through which any feeling can be described.

Q. So rains have added a new colour to this music video all together.

A. Definitely. It was a complete magic created by nature which had helped us so much in the shoot.

Q. How was your working experience with Ditipriya?

A. Look, someone who can innovate rain is definitely very intelligent (laughs). I have enjoyed it a lot. We have known each other for quite long.

Q. Being from the same television background, did you have a comfort level with Ditipriya?

A. I feel comfort level depends on the kind of person one works with, the compatibility between the two and their thought processes. Comfort level comes when the two people are in sync.

Q. How do you view this music video in terms of your career?

A. I believe this music video will have a positive impact on my career just like my other works. It was amazing to see people liking and positively commenting on the music video. Even senior actors said they could relate to the music video. Such responses mean a lot to me.

Q. Do you plan things in your career?

A. Depends. If I go with the flow always, then it will start controlling me. I feel moving forward in an unplanned way is a bit dangerous in life. But always going against the flow can also have an adverse impact. Life should have a balance.
