Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh announce pregnancy, expecting first child in Sept 2024

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone and her actor husband Ranveer Singh on Thursday announced their pregnancy.

The couple are expecting their first child in September 2024.

The two actors posted on Instagram, "September 2024." The post suggests they are expecting their first child.

Deepika, now 38, got married to Ranveer in 2018 after several years of dating.

Speaking on children to Vogue Singapore, Deepika earlier said the couple love children.

In the interview published in January 2024, she had said, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family."

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Siddharth Anand directorial Fighter, where she starred alongside Hrithik Roshan for the inaugural time on screen.

Ranveer, meanwhile, played the lead role in Karan Johar's blockbuster comeback film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which co-starred Alia Bhatt in the lead.
