Pranav Mohanlal starrer Malayalam blockbuster Dies Irae, directed by Rahul Sadasivan, has locked its OTT release date, media reports said.

Following a highly successful theatrical run, the horror-thriller will be available for streaming on Jio Hotstar from December 5 in its original Malayalam as well as dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

The title — Latin for “Day of Wrath” — reflects the film’s theme of reckoning and fear.

The story follows Rohan, a wealthy architect, whose life takes a terrifying turn after he begins experiencing supernatural events in his home following the death of a former acquaintance.

With the help of a neighbour linked to a traditional exorcist lineage, Rohan uncovers unsettling truths, as the film builds tension through atmospheric horror and psychological suspense rather than relying on frequent jump-scares.

Released worldwide on Halloween (October 31, 2025), Dies Irae received widespread acclaim for its direction, performances, cinematography and sound design, establishing itself as one of the year’s standout entries in Malayalam horror cinema.
