Big B appreciates new Bengali movie Shaheb Bibi Golaam

Kolkata, Aug 27 (IBNS): Reaffirming his passion for Bengali films, Amitabh Bachchan has tweeted about journalist-director Pratim D. Gupta’s movie 'Shaheb Bibi Golaam', appreciating the trailer.

#SBGinTheatres...had seen the trailer and so impressed coming from Bengali cinema....now in theatres...!!" the senior Bachchan posted in his twitter handle  T 2360 today.

Minutes before the tweet, the Big B had thanked a Bengali fan who had gushed about wife Jaya Bhadhuri's film Mahanagar, a classic by maestro Satyajit Ray  where he said in reply, "Thank you for that....quite a while ago.....".

While Bachchan this time turned his attention to Pratim D Gupta's 'Saheb Bibi Golaam',   starring Mrinal Sen's discovery Anjan Dutta, now a veteran film personality, about one year back he had similarly praised Bengali blockbuster 'Belaseshe' starring Soumitra Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta among others.
