Beatles stars Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr unite for the latter's new album

Los Angeles, Feb 21 (IBNS) Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, two of the surviving Beatles of the Fab Four, have come together once again as they recorded music together after almost seven years.

Soon after the duo also posted their photo on Twitter together. They were pictured in the home studio of Starr as McCartney reportedly made a guest appearance on Starr’s latest album.

“Thanks for coming over and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love,” posted the Beatles drummer Ringo Starr on Twitter with a picture of themselves.

Starr also posted a picture of himself, McCartney and Joe Walsh tweeting: “And look out Joe W came out to play. What a day I'm having. Peace and love.”

Ringo earlier revealed that he will release his follow-up to 2015's Postcard From Paradise though the release date of the album has not been yet announced.

The Beatles were an English rock band, formed in Liverpool in 1960. With members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, they became widely regarded as the foremost and most influential act of the rock era.

The legendary rock band disintegrated in 1970.

While Lenon was murdered in 1980, George Harrison, an India lover, died in 2001, aged 58, from lung cancer.
