Badshah defends 'make babies' with Dua Lipa remark amid online criticisms

Rapper Badshah, who drew online flak for his remark on British singer Dua Lipa, defended her comment and said it was the most 'beautiful' observation one can make for a woman.

After a fan enquired whether he was planning for a collaboration with Lipa, Badshah triggered a row after he recently wrote on X: "Id rather make babies with her bro."

The comment drew mixed reactions with a large number of internet user criticising the rapper for the comment.

One wrote: "Badshah is married with kids right?"

"Sad that you can Only dream to be with her," another said.

"Even Indian celebrities have a corrupted mindset; they publicly disrespect women," an internet user said.

Badshah defends his comment

Meanwhile, Badshah reacted to the online trolling and wrote on X: "I think one of the most beautiful compliments that you could give to a woman that you really admire is to wish for her to mother your children. Meri soch nahi tumhari soch saamne aayi hai ( “It’s my thought, not yours, that has come out."

Dua Lipa is an English and Albanian singer, songwriter and actress. Her accolades include seven Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards.

She released her eponymous debut album in 2017, which peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned the singles "Be the One", "IDGAF", and the UK number-one single "New Rules".
