Baahubali2 earns massive Rs 121 crores on opening day

Mumbai/Chennai, Apr 29 (IBNS): Shattering all records, Baahubali: The Conclusion has earned massive Rs 121 crores at the Indian Box Office on the first day of its release on Friday.

Filmmaker Karan Johar confirmed the figure as he tweeted: "GRAND INDIA TOTAL OF 121 crores NET!!!!! HINDI IS 41 crores!!! TAMIL + TELUGU + MALAYALAM = 80 crores!!!! HISTORY HAS BEEN CREATED!!!!!!"

Johar is the presenter of the Hindi version of the SS Rajamouli-directed movie.

Baahubali: The Conclusion is an Indian epic historical fiction film directed by S. S. Rajamouli.

It is the continuation of Baahubali: The Beginning.
