"Avengers: Endgame" still leads Chinese mainland daily box office

Beijing, May 7 (Xinhua/UNI) Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame" continues to top Chinese mainland daily box office despite a drop of daily grossing Monday.

The superhero movie grossed 33.79 million yuan (about 5 million U.S. dollars), compared with 51.12 million yuan from the previous day, according to China Movie Data Information Network.

It was followed by Lebanese film "Capernaum," which took in 14.71 million yuan.

Coming in third was domestic romantic drama "Always Miss You," which generated 4.02 million yuan.
