Kolkata/IBNS: 'Bohu Bohu Din Pore', the first song from Arnab Mukhopadhyay's Athhoi, the cinematic adaptation of William Shakespeare's Othello, was unveiled by the makers on Friday.

Written by Anirban Bhattacharya, who is also part of the film in different capacities, the song beautifully captures the journey of finding love after a long wait and expresses the joy of cherishing and nurturing the person who brings such deep emotions, leading to a lifelong bond.

This romantic melody is brought to life by the voices of Durnibar Saha and Ikkshita Mukherjee, with music composed by Amit Chatterjee.

Athhoi marks Arna's directorial debut and stars himself as Athhoi, Sohini Sarkar as Diya, and Anirban Bhattacharya as Gogo in an adaptation of a William Shakespeare classic.

In this adaptation, Sohini Sarkar portrays Diya, a character inspired by Desdemona, Arna Mukhopadhyay steps into the role of Dr. Athhoi Lodha, a complex reinterpretation of Shakespeare's Othello, while also directing the film.

The film, which is produced by Jio Studios and SVF, is slated to release on June 14.
