Arunachal Pradesh: Kiren Rijiju launches trailer of first movie in Tagin language

New Delhi:  Union minister Kiren Rijiju launched the trailer of  “first ever” movie in Tagin language of his home state Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.

He said the film “Love in 90s” will be tax free and that he will ask the state government to promote it through other means as well, East Mojo reported.

The office of the minister tweeted: "Promoting the art, culture, and local traditions of Northeast India's Arunachal Pradesh is a matter of great pride. It is heartening to witness the trailer launch of 'Love in 90s' with the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Union Minister of Law and Justice Shri@KirenRijiju ji as a Chief Guest, Director@NatamTapen, &@_MohitChauhanshowcasing the essence of our region's culture through the lens of local cinema. Let's support and promote our talented filmmakers who bring to life the beauty of our land and people."

The director of the film, Tapen Natam, was quoted as saying by the news portal that he felt proud to be able to come from one of the remotest corners of the country to the national capital, and release the trailer of his movie thanks to Rijiju’s help.
