Says music composer Vivek Kar, “I always felt Arijit and Ash are the special talents of our country and I used to say this to them always. Being the heart of the nation Arijit has got the world of love with him and Ash being a romantic crooner with his unique texture I thought what could be better to collaborate both and that too in a romantic song."
"The common thing between them is they both are much grounded and extremely talented in terms of sound. They know to play with sound, few singers now-a-days are related to sound. ‘Mera Ishq’ is special and am glad everybody is loving it. The video makes it more especial,” he adds.
