Kolkata, Jan 7 (IBNS): Film director Anik Dutta, who gave Bengali cinema a shot in the arm with his 2012 movie ‘Bhooter Bhabishyot’, is back with another 'ghostly' film, ‘Bhobishyoter Bhoot’.

At the trailer and poster launch of the film, Dutta said that ‘Bhobishyoter Bhoot’ is however not a sequel to his 2012 film.

“Both, my earlier film and my current film ‘Bhobishyoter Bhoot’ revolve around ghosts but the subject and story line is completely different. So we can’t call it a sequel,” said Dutta.

'Bhobishyoter Bhoot' revolves around a group of future ghosts who take refuge in a camp and are confused whether to stay in the real world or the virtual world.

Dutta said that the latest film has a psychological twist to it, which will make viewers question whether or not living beings are creepier than those dead.

Talking about his role in the film, Sabyasachi Chakrabarty said, ‘I am supposed to be the CEO of the ghosts in the film. Bhobishyoter Bhoot is a satirical comedy revolving around a dejected group of ghosts and it is intriguing enough to keep you glued to your seats.”

Roja Paromita Dey who will also be seen in the film said, “I am very excited about the film and the role I am playing is similar to how I actually am in real life.”

Set to release on February 15, the cast includes Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Suman Mukhopadhyay, Sourav Chakraborty, Barun Chanda, Kaushik Sen, Swastika Mukherjee, Moon Moon Sen, Chandreyee Ghosh and Roja Paromita Dey.
