Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for Covid-19, hospitalised

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19.

Bachchan has been shifted to Nanavati Hospital. 

UPDATE: His actor-producer son Abhishek Bachchan also tested positive for Covid-19.

As per media reports, his health condition is not serious. 

His family and staff have undergone Covid tests, the results of which are awaited.

The actor informed his followers on Twitter, "I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !"
