Mumbai, Sept 21 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan is giving a strong competition to other celebrity netizens in Twitter as he is now being followed by 17 million people on Twitter.

Bachchan tweeted: "T 2001 - 17 MILLION !! FOLLOWERS !!! Thank you all Ef and non Ef and to be Ef .. thank you all that compliment me, and those that abuse too."

Bachchan uses the platform quite regularly to share his views on numerous issues and to interact with his fans.

Several other Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra also use he micro-blogging site quite regularly.
