Alia, SRK thank fans for positive response to 'Dear Zindagi'

Mumbai, Nov 26 (IBNS): Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt on Saturday thanked fans after their latest released movie 'Dear Zindagi' received positive response at the Box Office on the first day.

"Thank u all for the love this small lil film is getting. I feel so proud that I could be a part of @gauris & @aliaa08 journey.#DearZindagi," Khan tweeted.

Alia said,"Thank you guys for all the love!!!!! Such a lovely feeling to wake up to :) wohoooo @iamsrk @gauris @karanjohar #DearZindagi."

The movie, which released on Friday, earned over eight crore on the day of its release.

Business analyst and movie critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#DearZindagi has a STRONG start... Hi-end plexes of major centres contribute maximum... Fri ₹ 8.75 cr [1200 screens]. India biz."

The movie is directed by Gauri Shinde.
