Mumbai: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor Sunday welcomed their bundle of joy, a baby girl.

Alia was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai at around 7:30 am for her delivery, media reports said.

The actress gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

Bhatts and Kapoors, the families of Alian and Ranbir, were getting ready for the big day.

Alia gave birth to her first child in the same hospital where father-in-law Rishi Kapoor received treatment and also breathed his last.

In June, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor had announced their pregnancy, saying that they were soon going to embark on a new journey in life.

In the picture share, Alia can be seen undergoing her sonography sessions while Ranbir looks at the screen. Sharing the photos, Alia wrote, Our baby .. coming soon (sic)."

Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with Alia Bhatt on April 14, 2022, at their home, Vastu, in Bandra. It was an intimate ceremony attended by only the couple's friends and family.
