Akshay Kumar's Naam Shabana hits silver screen

Mumbai, Mar 31 (IBNS): Poster of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's latest movie 'Naam Shabana' hit the silver screen.

The film also features actress Taapsee Pannu.

Urging her fans to watch the movie, the actress tweeted: "It's done. Now all upto you. #NaamShabana all yours. Please make sure it gets its due ."

Speaking on the release, Akshay Kumar tweeted: "Today is the day I stand behind this woman...the Real Hero of #NaamShabana. Discover the hero in each one of you, a Shabana! Out Today ."


Verified accountNaam Shabana is an upcoming 2017 Indian action spy-thriller film directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia under the Friday Filmworks banner.

It is a spin-off from the 2015 film Baby with Taapsee Pannu reprising her role as Shabana.

Other cast includes Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Prithviraj Sukumaran play important supporting roles in the film.
