Akshay Kumar unveils poster of his new project Ram Setu on Diwali

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar brought smiles on the faces of his fans by announcing his upcoming Bollywood project 'Ram Setu' on the occasion of Diwali on Saturday.

He unveiled a poster of the movie where he could be seen sporting a long hairdo and a grey T-Shirt.

In the poster a photo of Lord Ram can be seen in the background.

He captioned the image as: "This Deepawali,let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead,here is our humble attempt - #RamSetu Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!"

The movie is directed by Abhishek Sharma.
