Akshay Kumar tests Covid-19 positive, set to miss Cannes Film Festival

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar Saturday said he tested positive for Covid-19.

Akshay said on Twitter he will be missing the upcoming Cannes Film Festival as he will "rest it out".

The actor tweeted, "Was really looking forward to rooting for our cinema at the India Pavilion at #Cannes2022, but have sadly tested positive for Covid. Will rest it out.

"Loads of best wishes to you and your entire team, @ianuragthakur. Will really miss being there."

This is the second time the celebrated actor has tested positive for coronavirus in a year's time.
