Akshay Kumar finds his Ms Khiladi

Mumbai, July 1 (IBNS): For the first time, Amy Jackson will be seen in an action packed avatar in the upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer, 'Singh is Bling', and the actress was determined to be the perfect match for Khiladi King who is known for his mindboggling stunts.
So for months she has been working out religiously, morning and night, with Black Belt MMA fighter Aniket who won a world title for India a few years ago.

“We started with the basics of kicking, lunging and blocking and gradually worked our way up to more advanced moves. Then a few days prior to the shoot, Anaal, the action choreographer, and his assistants would work on the exact moves so we could perfect them,” explains Amy who has so far only been seen in `girly' roles.

She admits that Akshay whose fight sequences she has been watching was a huge inspiration.

“He is definitely Bollywood's Action Man,” Amy asserts. “He's my favourite action hero. My favourite action heroine is Angelina Jolie who has everything going for her.”

On the first day of shoot of an action sequence, her hero gave her a few pointers. One that really stood out was to do with her stance and body language because that sets the tone for the fight. “He told me to not restrict myself and stay strong because it's all about aura,” she informs.

“A big part of the sequence was taken in one shot with a steady cam. There were all kinds of moves, from spinning kicks to double kicks. It was quite a task and tiring too but I pulled it off,” she exults.

Now they are all set to shoot a horse riding sequence next month. On being asked whether the same gives her the jitters, she says, "Definitely not, I've been riding since I was a child and I'm really excited."
