Akira earns little over Rs. 5 crore on opening day
Mumbai, Sept 3 (IBNS): Sonakshi Sinha's latest Bollywood movie Akira has earned little over Rs. 5 crore on the first day of its release on Friday.
Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted : "#Akira gathered momentum after an ordinary start... Biz picked up from evening onwards... Fri ₹ 5.15 cr. India biz."
The film has been co written, produced and directed by AR Murugadoss.
The soundtrack composed byVishal-Shekhar.
The film also features filmmaker-turned-actor Anurag Kashyap and actress Konkona Sen Sharma.
