Ajay to spend time with family on his 46th b'day
Mumbai, Apr 2 (IBNS): Bollywood's Singham star Ajay Devgn, who acting skills continue to mesmerise his fans, turned 46 years of age on Thursday.
The birthday boy, who had been shooting in Goa for Nishikant Kamat's 'Drishyam', is back in Mumbai for his special day, Mid-Day reported.
“Ajay avoids partying too much, so there will be a quiet celebration at his Juhu home with wife Kajol and children Nysa and Yug. As Nysa's birthday is later this month (April 20), it will kickstart her birthday countdown too. The 11-year-old likes cooking, so she will help prepare some special dish for his birthday. Ajay's sisters and close buddies will also drop in,” Mid-Day reported quoting a source close to Ajay.
It also reported that Ajay will spend some time with Kajol and the kids before he leaves for the Hyderabad schedule of 'Drishyam.'
Ajay started his career in the industry with 'Phool Aur Kaante' in 1991 and won Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for his performance in the film.
Ajay has been accepted by the audiences not only in his angry young man avatar but the actor also found a niche fan base for his comic roles.
He has appeared in a variety of roles and has delivered several hits over the years, including 'Jigar', 'Dilwale', 'Vijaypath', 'Jung', 'Naajayaz', 'Ishq', 'Zakhm', 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Lajja', 'Gangaajal', 'Khakee', 'Kaal', 'Apaharan', 'Golmaal', 'Golmaal: Fun Unlimited', 'Golmaal Returns', 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai', 'Singham', 'Bol Bachchan' and 'Singham 2'.
The actor has also appeared in critically acclaimed films like 'Raincoat' , 'Yuva' and 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh'.
