Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 roars in box office in week 1

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 is continuing its massive run in the box office in the first week since its release.

The film, which has garnered positive reviews, has collected over Rs. 100 crore in the first week.

The Abhishek Pathak directorial project has earned R. 104.66 crore till Thursday.

Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Drishyam2 is NOT OUT… Packs a SOLID SCORE in Week 1… TERRIFIC weekend, SUPER-STRONG weekdays…

"All eyes on Weekend 2… Fri 15.38 cr, Sat 21.59 cr, Sun 27.17 cr, Mon 11.87 cr, Tue 10.48 cr, Wed 9.55 cr, Thu 8.62 cr. Total: ₹ 104.66 cr. #India biz."

The footfall at theatres have increased to the point that multiplex chains have added midnight shows to fulfill the demand for Drishyam 2.

The sequel of Drishyam features Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta alongside Ajay in the lead.
