Back by positive responses from moviegoers and critics, actors Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan's latest psychological thriller Shaitaan entered the Rs. 100 crore club in India.

"100 NOT OUT - CENTURY *TODAY*… #Shaitaan is the *second* #Hindi film, after #Fighter, to hit ₹ cr mark [#India biz; NBOC; 2024 releases]… Remains first choice, continues to resonate with moviegoers at urban centres and beyond," film critic Taran Adarsh posted on X.

Shaitaan is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language supernatural horror thriller film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Devgn Films, Jio Studios and Panorama Studios.

It is the remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash.

The film stars Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj.

Shaitaan was theatrically released on March 8.

It coincided with Maha Shivratri celebration across the country.
