AGP to showcase 'Blame It On Yashraj'

Mumbai, Apr 24 (IBNS): Ashvin Gidwani Productions (AGP) is all set to present its latest play, ‘Blame It On Yashraj’ on Sunday (Apr 27) at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Mumbai.

Written and directed by the well-known theatre personality Bharat Dabholkar, the play is an ultimate entertainer for the audiences.

The play stars popular television and theatre actor Ananth Mahadevan.

Speaking about his play director Bharat Dabholkar said, “I am very excited to showcase my play at the NCPA. It has been a wonderful experience working with such great talent. I am glad the audiences have loved and accepted our hard work and the brilliant performances by all the actors.”

Actor Ananth Mahadevan said, “The thrill of acting on-stage is an entirely different feeling. Being directed by an exemplary personality like Bharat has been a great learning experience too. Having been associated with him before, I can undoubtedly say that he has reached a new level of excellence with this play.”

‘Blame it on Yashraj’ is a hilarious story of a Punjabi/Bengali family caught up in the whirlwind of a wedding getting bigger and bigger by the day, when their darling daughter decides to marry a Muslim boy.

The cast of the play comprises Ananth Mahadevan, Jayati Bhatia, Anchal Sabharwal, Punit Tejwani, Smita Hai, Gaurav Sharma, Palash Dutta and Neel Gagdan.
