Mumbai, Sept 23 (IBNS): Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt is followed by nine million followers on Twitter and the actress thanked her fans for the achievement.

"Aww thank you for the love guys!!!! 9M love really really feels overwhelming hope to always entertain and spread lots and lots of love!" the actress tweeted.

Born in 1993 to filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan, Alia made her debut in  Student of the Year (2012).

Though she managed to impress the audience, it was with her next movie Highway that Alia caught the attention of the critics.

She topped that with two other hits, 2 States and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.

Though her latest release Shaandaar bombed at the box-office, she managed to retain her fame.

Alia is also the recipient of a Filmfare Critics Awards for her performance in Highway.
