Indian actor Satish Shah has calmly and in a dignified manner responded to an alleged racist comment hurled at him at the United Kingdom's Heathrow Airport in London and his reply has won the hearts of netizens.

Shah said he overheard a Heathrow Airport staff member asking his mate "how can they afford first class?".

Narrating the incident, the 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' actor tweeted, "I replied with a proud smile “because we are Indians” after I overheard the Heathrow staff wonderingly asking his mate”how can they afford 1st class?”

Apologising to the actor, the Heathrow Airport has responded to the tweet saying, "Good morning, we're sorry to hear about this encounter. May you DM us?"

Shah's comment has garnered applause from the netizens with several lauding the actor for his response.
