Actor Bhumi Pednekar tests Covid-19 positive

Mumbai/IBNS: Bhumi Pednekar became the latest Bollywood personality to get infected with Novel Coronavirus or Covid-19.

Pednekar took to social media to inform that she has developed mild symptoms and isolated herself.

"As of today, I have mild symptoms, but am feeling ok and have isolated myself. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals," Bhumi said in a statement.

"Please don't take the current situation lightly, even though I followed utmost precaution and care I've contracted. Wear a mask, keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behaviour," she added.

Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar have already tested positive for the deadly virus.

Tendulkar and Akshay have also been hospitalised.
