Aanand L. Rai's cook to travel with his crew to London

| | Feb 26, 2015, at 04:30 am
Mumbai, Feb 25 (IBNS): Home-cooked food is the best food around and an avid food-lover, Aanand L. Rai truly believes that. Hence, when the director decided to take his personal cook along while shooting for the sequel to Tanu Weds Manu (2011) in London, it came as no surprise.
A source close to Aanand said, “London has many places that serve Indian food, but Aanand sir loves home-cooked food. As he will be on a long schedule in London, he didn't want him and his cast and crew to miss homemade food."

The director’s cook will travel to London for a month-long shoot of the film which stars the gorgeous Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan in the lead roles.

“There have been occasions when the cast of his films have shared his food as they didn’t like what was being served on the sets,” adds the source.

The director is known in the industry for his love for food. Infact, Dhanush, who worked with the talented director in Raanjhanaa (2013), once told us, “Aanand loves food so much that he often talks to his food saying, ‘I love you, but I will have to eat you’.”

The director confirmed the news and added, “Right food and right casting makes me happy. So yes, my cook will be travelling with me.”
