Aamir Khan introduces girlfriend Gauri Spratt ahead of his 60th birthday
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, to the media during an informal gathering in Mumbai, just before his 60th birthday, media reports said.
Their relationship has drawn attention, especially given their long history and recent reconnection.
Aamir and Gauri sat together and interacted with the media, talking about their journey together, according to a Hindustan Times report.
A bond rekindled after 25 years
According to a Times of India report, Aamir and Gauri first crossed paths 25 years ago but lost touch over time.
They reconnected a couple of years ago and have been in a relationship for the past 18 months.
Addressing the media, Aamir playfully noted how well they had kept their romance under wraps, saying, "See, I didn’t let you guys find out, did I?"
Family's support and a personal touch
Aamir shared that his children and family have met Gauri and are supportive of their relationship.
He humorously referenced his 2001 film Lagaan, saying, "Bhuvan has finally found his Gauri," TOI reported.
Aamir's marital journey
Before his relationship with Gauri, Aamir was married twice. He first wed Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira. Later, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and they have a son, Azad.
Though Aamir and Kiran announced their separation a few years ago, they maintain an amicable relationship, co-parenting their son and working together professionally.
As Aamir Khan marks his 60th birthday, he steps into this new phase of life with Gauri Spratt by his side.
