Aamir Khan adopts two drought-hit villages of Maharashtra

Mumbai, Apr 20 (IBNS): In an act of philanthropy, actor Aamir Khan has adopted two drought-hit villages in Maharashtra, media reports said.
In an attempt to support and uplift their conditions, Aamir Khan has adopted the villages of of Tal and Koregaon.
 
Khan expressed his desire to lend support to these villages when he visited them recently along with the NGO Paani Foundation. 
 
Earlier,  actor Akshay Kumar donated Rs. 50 lakhs towards the Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan, an initiative taken by the Maharashtra government to make villages drought-proof.
