Youth shot dead in Shahjahanpur

A 38-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified persons in front of his house in Paraur area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said here on Saturday.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashok Kumar Meena said that Rajveer, a resident of Talikapur village, worked in neighbouring Badaun district.

"On Friday night when Rajveer returned home he was shot dead by unidentified persons outside his house," he said.

He said that the deceased sustained three bullet injuries.

"The body has been sent for postmortem examination and four teams have been constituted to work out the case," he said.
