Youth attacked by locals for allegedly raping minor girl in Nagaland

Guwahati, May 30 (IBNS): A group of locals attacked a youth publicly in Nagaland’s Mon district on Wednesday for allegedly raping a 12-year-old minor girl.

The incident happened at Mon town, where the youth was forcefully made naked and attacked by a mob.

Local people of Mon town alleged that, the youth had allegedly raped a 12-year-old minor girl at Yuching village in Mon district.

Later, Mon district police rescued the youth and took him into custody.

Meanwhile, Mon district police registered two different cases and started investigation.

On March 26, a group of locals stripped two accused persons naked and paraded them on street of Yingkiong town in Arunachal Pradesh alleging that they had raped a minor girl.
