Yogi Adityanath dials Akhilesh Yadav after SP leader's wife, daughter test COVID-19 positive

Lucknow/IBNS: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has dialed his predecessor Akhilesh Yadav after the latter's wife Dimple Yadav and daughter tested positive for COVID-19.

Adityanath's office has put up a tweet which reads, "The Chief Minister has talked to Akhilesh Yadav over phone hearing his wife Dimple Yadav and daughter testing coronavirus positive."

According to information received here Dimple, a former parliamentarian, and her daughter have been kept under isolation and are being treated at home.

It may be mentioned that cases of COVID-19 are once again rising in different parts of the state, including capital Lucknow.

Akhilesh too contracted the virus during the second wave.

Right now Akhilesh is on a tour of various districts as a part of eight legs of Samajwadi Vijay Rath yatra in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.
