Women’s contribution in cleanliness drive is immense: Union Minister Ravi Shankar

Patna/UNI: Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said that the contribution of women in cleanliness drive across the country has been immense.

While interacting with the women working in the field of IT, Social services and women entrepreneurs on the occasion of International Women’s day, Prasad said here that the country cannot develop leaving the women folk behind and realizing this, the NDA government launched several programmes for their socio-economical-educational upliftment, empowerment and their welfare.

Congratulating women during the occasion, he urged the women entrepreneurs and achievers of various fields to get connected with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi through twitter.

He said that for an overall development of women save girls child and educate them scheme was launched which is bearing positive result.

He also apprised the women about other schemes aimed at their empowerment which include Sukanya Samridhi Yojna.

He said that the Prime minister Narendra Modi paved the way for women to become Air Force pilot.

During this occasion the women working in different sectors shared their experiences with Prasad.
