Woman critically injured in bomb explosion in Bengal's Hooghly
Kolkata, Jun 25 (UNI): A vegetable vendor was today seriously injured when a socket bomb, packed in a container, went off after she picked it up from a road at Bandel in West Bengal's Hooghly district, police said today.
Banasti Mandol has been admitted with multiple wounds to Imambara hospital at Chinsurah.
The explosion happened around 1130 hours at Lichubagan when the middle-aged woman picked up a container lying on the road.
The container blew up splitting one of her hands from elbow.
