With four new positive cases Assam COVID-19 cases surge to 350

Guwahati/IBNS: With four new positive cases Assam on Sunday registered 350 positive cases for COVID-19.

The new cases have been reported from Chirang and Jorhat district.

On Saturday, the state had registered 87 COVID-19 positive cases – the biggest single-day spike in the number of COVID-19 cases.

Assam Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state has on Sunday registered four fresh positive cases for COVID-19.

He tweeted – “4 new #COVID19+ confirmed. 2 from Chirang, at Tezpur quarantine centre; 2 from Jorhat with travel history to Chennai. Total cases 350.”
