Will Amit Shah be questioned on Loya death case: Arvind Kejriwal

| @indiablooms | Feb 23, 2018, at 06:46 pm

New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS): Reacting to the investigations going on over the Delhi Chief Secretary assault case, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked whether BJP President Amit Shah will be questioned on the death of  judge  Loya.

For the sake of investigation, police has reached Kejriwal's residence where Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash was allegedly assaulted by two AAP lawmakers.

Interacting with media, Kejriwal said: "Police have reached my house to investigate. It is good. But will Amit Shah be questioned on the judge Loya death case?"

He has also put up the same statement on his Twitter handle.

In an interesting twist,  Kejriwal's key aide VK Jain has confirmed an assault on Prakash by two AAP lawmakers.

Jain told the city court that he has witnessed the assault of Prakash on Monday night, report said.

Judge Loya, who was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case in which Shah was an accused,  died of a heart attack in 2014.

His death raised questions from certain quarters about the possibility of a foul play.

Accused Shah was discharged by a new judge, who said there wasn't enough evidence to merit a trial.
